Bio
Natalia Koromvokis is an Athens-based visual artist working within figurative abstraction and abstract portraiture.
Her practice focuses on constructing recognisable human faces and expressions through abstract painting. She uses chromatic relationships, direct colour contrasts, tonal variations, fragmented brushwork and negative space to convey specific emotional states while preserving the expressive character of the human face.
Working in oil and acrylic, she develops her paintings directly on canvas.
