Artist statement
My painting is a motion present.
Light and color form the language; everything else happens in between.
I work in oil and mixed media, in the space between figuration and abstraction —
a space where emotion becomes structure and painting exists as presence.
Each painting unfolds slowly, revealing its own atmosphere rather than a narrative.

Technique
Layered and intuitive. Classical in base, independent in execution.
Slow transparent layers — glazes and oil passages built over time — until the image reaches its own light and density.
Painting becomes a living surface — a space of presence rather than depiction.
